Rudbeckia hirta

The Black-eyed Susan flower is a flower that lives in the eastern deciduous forest in the United States in states such as Missouri. Besides attracting butterflies, the plant can be used to treat cuts, sores, swelling, snakes bites, and it stimulates the immune system.

A tea can be made from the roots to help with cuts, sores, scrapes, and swelling along with acting as an overall immune system booster. In addition, a poultice can be made from the roots to treat snake-bites to help clean the bite and prevent infection.
